On Venus discovered a mysterious clubs glowing mist, which disappears, then appears

Yet another mysterious phenomenon, astronomers have discovered on Venus. Unusual luminous mist in the atmosphere of the planet disappears, then appears in different places.
According to astronomers, the phenomenon has no analogues on other planets, including on our own, and represents a new kind of dynamic features of the Venusian atmosphere.
I suppose that this process resembles what happens with the city smog.

As described in the European Space Agency, with the help of special equipment VMC (Venus Monitoring Camera) have been recorded several cases of bright glow in the southern hemisphere in July 2007. A few days later similar, but more intense luminescence were recorded near the equatorial regions of Venus.
Experts say that this phenomenon occurred in the upper layers of the dense atmosphere of Venus. Currently there are no data on what might cause this phenomenon and why it does not have a clear time and why it occurs only near the planet's equator. Presumably, the glow effect arises because of the high density cloud of Venus, which dissolved a large amount of sulfuric acid. These pairs are thus absorb and reflect ultraviolet light coming from the Sun.

European scientists say that at a height of about 70 km above the planet's atmosphere consists of gaseous sulfur dioxide and tiny water droplets. Of these compounds formed the uppermost clouds of the planet that can be seen from outer space, besides these dense clouds block the direct view of Venus from the surface.
In the ESA suggests that as a result of atmospheric processes at this altitude are produced sulfuric acid, which rise even higher and there they are affected by sunlight, forcing a pair of glow.

Unclear what exactly causes the sulfur dioxide and water to rise so high and interact. Most likely, it is responsible for some yet unknown processes on the surface of Venus.
Note that a few months ago to Venus approached the Japanese interplanetary spacecraft "Akatsuki"("Dawn"), but he was unable to enter the orbit of the planet due to the malfunctioning of the braking device.
