Featuring a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, the R Style is obviously smaller than the Galaxy S III. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and comes with LTE connectivity, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, T-DMB, 5MP rear camera, and 16GB of internal memory.
The Galaxy R Style will cost 700,000 KRW (about $594), and customers should be able to find it through all major Korean mobile carriers (SK telecom, KT, and LG U+). I don’t see any good reason for this handset’s existence – not with the S III also coming really soon. But maybe Samsung is thinking that a slightly cheaper alternative to the S III would be successful. ...
