Samsung Galaxy A Smartphone announced

South Korea is about to get their first Android OS powered smartphone thanks to Samsung who is planning on rolling out the Samsung Galaxy A. Also known as the SHW-M100S, this Samsung phone is expected to be the first of many Google OS phones to launch in this market.
In addition to being the first Android phone in S. Korea, the Galaxy A will also be the first to support video telephony in this market. For features, the handset includes a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, a 720MHz processor chip, T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and DivX support. Together, these features will offer Korean customers value added features such as live TV broadcasts and support for video games.
Owners of the Galaxy A, which by the way will roll out at the end of April, will also have access to Samsung’s Apps store where they will be able to access and download custom applications specific for the mobile phone.
